The George McCann Band is making its Updike Room debut on Saturday January 31st. George McCann is one of the most dynamic guitarists that you will ever experience, and seeing him perform in the intimate setting of the Updike Room makes this evening even more special. George is known throughout the United States as the dynamic force with the James Montgomery Blues Band. However, George also has a solo project that is highly respected throughout New England.
Joining George onstage will be Tom West on keyboards, Tom’s resume is long and impressive with highlights of tours with Tom Jones and the great Peter Wolf.
Russel Keys holds down the bottom on the Bass guitar. Russel has played with a who’s who of outstanding musicians including the great blues man, Roy Buchanan.
And keeping the big beat is Don “DC” Culp on the drums, DC has been playing on the local…
